A very special kind of festival

Now featuring some 80 events and 35,000 visitors, the Schubertiade is the leading Schubert festival in the world: nowhere else offers a programme with such an extensive selection of Lieder evenings, or one that features so many internationally-renowned performers. Another highlight is the selection of world class chamber concerts and piano evenings.  The programme is further enhanced by numerous orchestral concerts, readings and lectures, as well as master classes by leading artistic personalities.
