The University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg (FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences) is Vorarlberg's largest university and offers Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in four subject areas: Business, Technology, Design and Social & Health Sciences. The community of around 1,600 students is just as diverse and creative. The modern infrastructure, laboratories accessible around the clock and personal support are the hallmarks of the UAS. All study programmes are oriented towards the requirements of business and society and are very practice-oriented. The UAS is also one of Austria's strongest research universities of applied sciences. The research centres, research groups and subsidiaries act as a knowledge centre: thanks to cooperation with research institutions at an international level, the FHV has the latest scientific findings at its disposal and applies them in the region. With six universities, the UAS forms the European University RUN-EU, thus underlining its international orientation. There are more than 130 partner universities worldwide.
