The impressive collection of more than 140 complete nativity crib scenes, from four continents, present nativity mangers and figures in a variety of interpretations of the Holy Night. Among the highlights is a 16 square meter large Easter Passion scene with more than 90 figures, which tells the story of Christ’s suffering and crucifixion. There is also a 23-meter-long “Jahreskrippe”, with 14 stations from the life of the Holy Family; or the so-called “Spiegelkrippen”, which use a skillful ordering of mirrors to simulate enhanced spatial depth.
